The problem with orange juice is that it does contain sugar, which is well known for bringing down your mood. So how do you get the best out of its mood-enhancing nutrients whilst avoiding the mental hang-over that sugar wants to wring up on you? The best thing to do is to not drink too much oforange juice. Take a glass of orange juice with your breakfast to get your day off to a positive start.

Apple juice was found to boost the mood in people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease – significantly. It’s all down to the apple itself, of course, which contains vital mood-boosting nutrients that we could all do with more of.
5. Chocolate Milk
Chocolate milk definitely contains mood-boosting properties.
It’s all down to the cocoa content of the chocolate. Containing compounds that encourage the production of the so-called “happy hormone” endorphins, cocoa acts as the perfect fillip for if you’re in need of a pick-me-up. It also contains serotonin, which you will find in many anti-depressants.
This is not to say that you should go crazy with chocolate milk, as too much chocolate is unhealthy. But a few glasses a week is OK.

If you’re more of a coffee person than a tea drinker, it might be time to switch allegiances. Tea contains less coffeine than coffee, which is a good thing because it’s the coffeine that can bring your mood down.
And, thanks to its stress-fighting compounds, there is no reason why it can’t help you too.
